I’m Quintin Brown, a Los Angeles native who has spent more than 20 years working where telecommunications, media, and technology meet. I’ve seen the industry from both sides of the signal: the networks that carry content and the studios and platforms that create and deliver it. That experience shapes how I think about business strategy, infrastructure, and the public policies that affect both.
I currently work as a Lead Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at Paramount. In my first 120 days, I improved throughput in an enricher pipeline by 40% through better observability, migrated a Cloud Composer and Airflow environment to their next major versions, established a PagerDuty on-call rotation, and deployed a read-only MCP interface so management can get real-time infrastructure answers without interrupting an engineer. Earlier roles at Disney, the NFL, Netflix, and other organizations gave me experience with live operations, production systems, cloud platforms, global networks, and technical leadership.
I am also Principal Architect at Scipionic Group, where I develop work across network intelligence, resilient infrastructure, applied AI, and media operations. I care about the path from an ambitious idea to a system people can actually deploy, operate, and trust.
Outside engineering, photography and videography help me observe the communities and places these systems serve. I’m interested in how technology, industry, and policy can work together to expand access to reliable energy, connectivity, and opportunity.
